I decided to go to NYU. It was a tough decision to make, actually. I know it seems crazy to think that something like getting accepted into NYU could be a difficult decision, but it was. There is a tremendous amount of debt that I will be taking on…it should be worth it.
This means that I will be heading to New York City in August. The list of my personal belongings will be reduced to a few books, a laptop, clothes, personal hygiene, and maybe some kitchen stuff. It’s barebones considering I will be in a dorm, but hopefully I find an apartment with a few (new) friends later to save some money. That means rebuying a bunch of stuff I sold.
So this is a pre-farewell to my mattress, a shelves, and divorce TV — what my roommate refers to my regrettably expensive screen — along with couch and printer and whatnot.
It’s very anxiety inducing, but deeply exciting. Yeah yeah yeah, the debt will be crushing (hey Biden, wanna cancel debt?) but I hope to find a good job that challenges me.
Anyways, a small update. Still trying to figure out how to update the Ghost blog engine on this tiny site. Anyone got any tips?
See you in the next one.
