Welcome to Mud Brain, the only corner of the internet for long form content revolving around my opinions. While you can get short form content in the form of Twitter, nothing says I have an overinflated opinion of myself than paying to blog about it.

Of course, I could try and share useful thing. And to be frank, the only reason I’m not using something like Medium or Substack is because I don’t want to give those two sites the satisfaction of being able to use my words on their domain. That’s right, I believe my words are worth so much they deserve their own home.

In all actually I just enjoyed the idea of having a place on the internet called mudbrain.xyz so I went ahead and did that.

What can you expect from this site? I would think that you’ll probably get a healthy dose of my opinion coupled with some photography. Maybe even my opinions on photography!

I hope to maintain this blog better than I did my original one called Simple Notions. That one died a tragic death (just like my marriage) and is now defunct along with everything on it. I forgot to back it up. Oops.

This means that this is a fresh start. The chance to have a fresh perspective on things, albeit they will still be my perspective on things. Though I could go and add some people to write on the blog too.

Most of my blogs will probably be flow of consciousness though I’d like to publish more polished pieces if and when the time comes.

As you can tell, this is a flow of consciousness piece. I’m just trying to get words on the page. Nothing is supposed to be taken from this post other than to get words on the database.

Hey-o, I also need to let you know I like hard ciders and coffee.
